It was a tougher morning than usual. I thought an early lunch would help, but not so. I told everyone to clean up and we’ll make fudgsicles, lots and lots of fudgsicles. It worked.
Dr. Fuhrman‘s Fudgsicles
1 cup cashews
2 T carob powder
1/2 t vanilla extract
(I also added soymilk)
Blend together in a food processor or blender.
Some of these are from another batch made with: bananas, soymilk, maple syrup, cinammon, nutmeg and vanilla. We used Solo plastic cups, and covered them with foil, as you can see. We ran out of popsicle sticks, (but we have lots of puppets!) so the plastic spoons and forks came in handy.
A couple of hours later, and a constant few “when is the popsicle done,” the kids were going ooh and ahh over their rich, creamy, wholesome and delicious fudgsicles.
