Oh wow, I love these notebooks. I may try and do that with our unit study on the Titanic. 🙂 Somehow I think it may be easier to get girls interested in notebooking than it is to get the boys interested. What do you think?

I would agree, but you could get them started by letting them type their narration/facts on the computer and (with your supervision) google images to use on their pages.
I sometime just print googled images ahead of time, get different (colored) papers out and let my dd loose with them. But there are days when I have to spoon-fed the whole page!

These look great! Looks like it was fun making them too. I like your blog. I love that you want to expose your kids to different cultures…we feel the same way. My husband is a teacher and can take the summers off (although he has been teaching summer school for the past 10 summers!) so when our youngest is 5 we hope to start taking them on summer trips to visit our various missionaries. We think this is very important.

You actually inspire me since we just began homeshcooling and it’s good to get ideas from more experienced families. I’m thinking even in creating a blog. I’ts a fantastic idea too. Thanks again.
