Oh wow, I love these notebooks. I may try and do that with our unit study on the Titanic. 🙂 Somehow I think it may be easier to get girls interested in notebooking than it is to get the boys interested. What do you think?

I would agree, but you could get them started by letting them type their narration/facts on the computer and (with your supervision) google images to use on their pages.
I sometime just print googled images ahead of time, get different (colored) papers out and let my dd loose with them. But there are days when I have to spoon-fed the whole page!
My computer is soooo ssslllloooowwwww! I can never see this fun stuff y’all are talking about! It *sounds* absolutely delightful!
*THANK YOU!* for your sweet comment on my blessings post!
OH WOW! I can see it now~OH how I LOVE IT TOO! WOOHOOO! (((((HUGS))))) sandi~so now you’ve made my day in more way than one! ~smile~ and OH what pretty little girlies!!!!
These look great! Looks like it was fun making them too. I like your blog. I love that you want to expose your kids to different cultures…we feel the same way. My husband is a teacher and can take the summers off (although he has been teaching summer school for the past 10 summers!) so when our youngest is 5 we hope to start taking them on summer trips to visit our various missionaries. We think this is very important.
I will be visiting you again! Thanks for visiting me!
Oh, that’s a wonderful idea ! Thanks a lot for sharing it. I’ve a got a 10-year-old boy who loves history and I’m sure he will be fascinated with this project. You actually inspire me since we just began homeshcooling and it’s good to get ideas from more experienced families. I’m thinking even in creating a blog. I’ts a fantastic idea too. Thanks again.

What fun! I wish you were my teacher. I just might have remembered history the first time around.

Wow, look at those industrious creative girls! Looks like they enjoyed it too.
Wow!! Such beautiful work…and such blessed children to be able to learn like that. Very inspiring this morning.
(And your girls are sooo beautiful!)
Wowzers! I am completely inspired! Very neat.
Isn’t it fun to learn like that? I think my kids would have more fun if I took the time to do more projects.
