a wife… a mother… a student, a teacher, a friend… keeper of the home… daughter of the King… more than a conqueror… yielded to the Savior.
It is my humble musings that live in these pages, but let me introduce you to the bulk of it all: my family.
My husband and I are home-educating parents to three beautiful girls ages 11, 5 and 3, and a boy born June 2008. We love the Lord and continue to be students of His Word. Our desire is to leave our children and those around us a legacy that would impact them for eternity.

I missed the transition to the new blog! I have a ton of catching up to do now…
BTW, thanks for stopping by my site. I lost a lot of people when I stopped being a food blog.
LOL, I actually forgot the address of your blog, so never added it to my RSS reader! I’m glad you commented today — I added you to my Google Reader.
The picture on your blog header looks so much like the coastline here. Is this a place in the US?
You have a lovely family.
Warmly,
lindafay
Thank you, Lindafay! It’s nice to see you here!
Right here in Minnesota- the picture is actually of Lake Superior as I stand outside the historical Split Rock lighthouse.

Carrie.
Hi Flo. It’s nice to meet you. Thanks for leaving a nice comment and link at Faith Lifts for me.
This is a beautiful blog! Where is your homeschool and how many years have you been a homeschooling family?
Salamat, Martine! We live in the US, in a suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. My oldest is 10 and we are on our 6th year of homeschooling.
Thanks for the visit and hope to see you back!
Hey,
Thanks for all your work on the blog.
I am part of a team at Base Camp Communications doing market research for PROBAR, a vegan energy bar company. We currently have 7 flavors.
We are looking for bloggers to try free samples of PROBAR’s 4 new flavors soon to be out and to give us feedback prior to them hitting the stores.
If you are interested send me your mailing address and we will have the samples shipped to you in the mail. (expected production on the samples will be in February) Once you get them there will be a way for you to share the samples with 3 close friends, fill out a feedback form on our website, and receive additional samples as well as exclusive discounted pricing on a case of bars (12 bars per case) if you like them.
Of course if you blog about it (like them or not – we prefer honest blogging) that would be stellar too.
Thanks for considering it.
Chris

Kristy,
Thanks for the visit and the nice comment.
Do you happen to have another blog? I clicked on your link, and it doesn’t look familiar at all…
Just a note to introduce you to my book, C Through Marriage. Written primarily to the Christian community, it is a useful resource for marital and premarital counseling. I believe you would find it to be a blessing to you and your wonderful family. It is available wherever Christian books are sold and may be previewed at tatepublishing.com.
Oops. I am so sorry that my note got on here. I wasn’t thinking too well. I messed up big time. Sorry. May the Lord bless you and this ministry. It will not happen again.
Hi, I just began homeschooling my third grader this year at her request. I would rather her go to Catholic school, but I don’t have the money for that right now. Your blog is inspirational-so thank you:)
I’m probably going to add a homeschool blog to my blogs on wordpress so I can keep up with curriculum and dates of attendance on the web-easier in case paper files are lost.
Thanks for sharing:)
G-d bless!
