It’s been long enough. Did anybody even notice?
I’m just sneaking in with another sporadic post to warm the place up a bit. As much as I like it here, I get into this thinking that when I blog, it has to be thoroughly grammatically correct and coherent, even if it is just pure rambling; so I would end with unfinished drafts, or deleted ones, or to simplify things, not writing at all. This year, I decided that short, random (okay, still sporadic) journals are better than none at all.
Though I stopped drafting New Year’s resolutions many moons ago, I eagerly look forward to this season to re-examine goals, intentions, and the way we do things; to declutter; and to reorganize. I started in strides, now at a snail pace, but progress nevertheless. Fresh start. New page. Just like this one.
I also added a new link here, Books Read 2009, to record what I am reading at the moment. Not a thorough list, but at least something to share.
For our read-aloud, here’s what we have lined up for 2009:
- The Princess and the Goblin
- The Swiss Family Robinson
- Heidi
- and one of Charles Dickens
Ah. It’s warm and cozy here now. It feels good. Welcome.
BLESSED NEW YEAR TO YOU!

yeah!
you know, it’s funny, but i am giving myself permission to do shorter, more spontaneous posts too. it makes blogging fun again.
let’s go for it!
whenever the mood strikes.
I missed you.
I loved The Princess and the Goblin! Remember to read its sequel, The Princess and Curdie. Definitely a favourite!
