I use Homeschool Tracker for record keeping on what we have accomplished. We are a state that you have to track hours. Homeschool Tracker is great for that.

For planning I am basically do the next thing in the book person with a Excel spreadsheet for science where it isn't obvious. I have a general idea of a weekly plan and then fill in the spaces; 2 pages of math and Explode the Code every day, 1 chapter of SOTW divided between Monday and Tuesday, copy work 4 days a week, Free Write on Friday...you get the picture.

I am beginning a website on homeschool software and have been doing some research on record keeping software. It definitely seems that Homeschool Tracker is the winner in this category, I have yet to come across a negative review on it. I would love once I get my post up....you add your review to it. I would like help other future and new homeschoolers (like myself) choose trusted and recommended software!
